This house minutes away from Montpelier was perfect for our Thanksgiving family gathering
This house minutes away from Montpelier was perfect for our Thanksgiving family gathering. Lots of activities for various family members to do at the house and in the surrounding area. The pool, sauna and hot tub were vey relaxing. The kitchen worked well enough in preparing our meal. The bar area served as our “pantry” and prep space. Even though the house layout is meandering there was plenty of space to get away when needed. It’s a good spot for multiple generations to gather, but be aware that there are multiple floors and steps. The host was very responsive when things came up. We would consider renting this house again as the location and size worked for our group of 13 overnighters and 5 locals.

My group and I loved staying at Logan’s residence! It is such a beautiful place and the more you explore the house the further your jaw drops. Logan was very responsive when we had an issue with the wifi and was very quick to the fix. Thank you again, Logan, for allowing my group and I to have a very enjoyable and entertaining time at the Sugar House!

The only reason for the 4 not 5 star rating is because of a few hiccups we encountered during our stay. If it weren’t for the AMAZING communication from Logan & team, we probably could’ve rated it lower, but it’s clear that the issues we faced were one-offs that likely won’t be a problem for future guests.
When we arrived, the house hadn’t been cleaned from the past guests. This was definitely a pain, but the owners spent hours on the phone and found people to come on a Thurs night and paid for our dinner. The pool water levels were also too low to swim. The owners sent someone to check it out who told us there’s a leak in the liner that is getting fixed ASAP!
Otherwise, the house is 10/10 – the sauna is AMAZING. Even with these hiccups, my group was impressed with the house, communication from owners, and would gladly stay again once these are fixed. Again want to reiterate the 10/10 communication!!!

We stayed as a group of ten friends and it was honestly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had so far. The house is huge and has everything you could wish for. Plenty of bedrooms, a fantastic pool, a sauna, a hot tub, and even a dedicated kids’ area. It’s super family-friendly and there are lots of games and a cozy fireplace. Basically, it’s got all the amenities you’d want for a perfect getaway. We had a blast and would definitely recommend it!

Very spacious house with lots of fun games/activities in the house. Location is perfect for so many things to do around.
