This house was a wonderful place to stay to celebrate my daughter’s birthday! So much space and so much to do on premise! Loved the experience!

My family really enjoyed our stay. It was everything we wanted out of a rental.
We had a wonderful time
We had a wonderful time! We came to celebrate my 30th birthday with my entire family. We had enough space to do our own thing and the big tables (inside and outside) made it easy to gather together. We did come across a wasp nest and could not locate any salt/pepper, but logan was extremely quick to respond and got us everything we needed. The place was beautiful and a great location. It was a great plus to have all the fun things for little kids. My son loved the outdoor putting green, the play set, and the play kitchen.

The Red Boot Lodge was a beautiful home in a peaceful setting. It was a great place for us to get together to unwind and relax as a family. The house is beautifully decorated and has all of the amenities listed. Logan was very quick to address any of our concerns or questions we had.

This was exactly as listed and the pictures are spot on! It was a wonderful stay for my family! The grandkids absolutely loved the putting green, the play set, and the deck! The adult kids loved the sauna and the hot tub. The perfect family get away! We enjoyed the home very much and would definitely visit again! The owner was definitely responsive to any and all concerns. Overall, A++++! Thank you again for hosting us!

Our Easter weekend was really special at the Red Boot Cabin! Lots of room and fun things for the kids. Some of the games were not working but there was plenty of things to do! The ping pong table & hot tub got a lot of use! Thanks for such a cool place to stay!

We had a bumpy start to our stay
We had a bumpy start to our stay. The door code would not work. I had to travel 7 miles down the road to get Internet to communicate with the host.
1.5 hour later a handyman helped us get into the cabin. The sauna, hot tub & upperdeck hammock was the highlight of our stay. The patriotic decor was beautiful! I read the previous reviews about the sewer smell in the master bath. That definitely is still an issue. (Just crack open the window) Beds were super comfy and plenty of space to keep everyone entertained!
We also loved the swings by the fire pit!
We were given the wrong Wi-Fi, however, that was an easy fix.
Please note the two fireplaces are not usable. We did not receive that information until the day of arrival . That may have been a deciding factor when booking in winter months!
Overall, beautiful and very clean cabin.

We had an amazing stay with a large group of 14 (7 couples) and truly loved this home. The open floor plan was a huge highlight and made it easy for everyone to cook, gather, and enjoy time together. The long dining table was a major selling point and comfortably fit all 14 of us for meals.
The sauna, hot tub, and overall privacy were fantastic, and having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor (plus a half bath on the main level) made the home work very well for a large group. The décor was beautiful and thoughtfully done, and the hot tub towels were a great touch.
One helpful note for future guests: the listing mentions four twin beds in the open loft above the living room/kitchen area, but they are trundle beds, which is good to know when planning sleeping arrangements. We also noticed an occasional odor in the master bathroom, which didn’t impact our stay but may be worth checking.
Overall, this home was perfect for a group getaway, and we would absolutely stay again

The red boot lodge is a beautiful house. It’s big and there’s a lot of entertainment, games to do. Love the dinning table inside and outside. The place accommodated our big group and made us feel comfortable. The host is very friendly and always replied to our questions.

The Red Boot Lodge was well suited for our family's annual trek to Hocking HIlls
The Red Boot Lodge was well suited for our family's annual trek to Hocking HIlls. The beds were comfortable. The perimeter as well as the porch of the lodge were great areas. Please note this is a 5 bedroom with doors and a loft with 4 beds. When we needed linens, the host gave us instructions to find them in the washer and dryer. We had a great time

We had a great stay at the Red Boot Lodge with three families! Plenty for the kids to do and the golden tee game was a favorite for the Dad’s!! The bed configuration worked great for our large group. We would definitely stay here again!
We had an incredible time at this cabin
We had an incredible time at this cabin. This house was insanely beautiful, spacious and everything was really clean and it had so many great amenities and thoughtful things. It was really close to all the hocking hills things to do. The host was amazing and responsive as well. There was a sewage smell that needs to be addressed in the master bedroom and the swing set was broken but with that said the host was very apologetic and made it up to us by offering a future discount so it was definitely still worth the stay. If you stay here I would just make sure to know that everything is in good and working order and that the smell is fixed.

Red boot lodge was a great place for my family to stay! Lots of things for the whole family to do without ever leaving the property! If you do have to leave the location was fantastic for getting to hiking trails or heading to Rockbridge or Logan. Logan was quick to answer any questions we had. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only problem we encountered was the dining room sliding doors didn’t lock which we let Logan know about so hopefully it will be fixed for the next guest! We will definitely be staying here again!

This cabin is amazing
This cabin is amazing!!! It’s just as it’s pictured. Very private and secluded. The covered porch was absolutely wonderful b/c it rained quite a bit for our time there. But, we were still able to be outside and enjoy our time. My phone got wet when we arrived. My friend had to reach out to the host for some help with the WiFi, they responded in less than 10 mins. There were a few issues along the way. The hosts are in the process of making binders with some helpful info that was missing.. directions for sauna and such. There was still a smell in the master bath/bed that arrived on the 2nd day. I spoke w the host and they said they’re going to be getting that addressed again. So, still some slight tweaks needed. But, overall such a really fabulous place. It was perfect for our girls trip, we all got our own room and the beds are amazing!! The kitchen is great too. Huge fridge. Two types of coffee makers. Open concept was perfect for hanging out. And the hosts were really wonderful. ❤️🏡
