I’ve stayed at cleaner AirBnBs with more responsive hosts, but overall nothing significant to complain about
I’ve stayed at cleaner AirBnBs with more responsive hosts, but overall nothing significant to complain about. The house is starting to show a lot of wear (stains on rugs, furniture, broken mirrors, etc.). No washcloths, bath mats, or extra towels were provided. I had requested a change to add 2 guests to our group a month+ before our trip and never heard back. The only actual communication I had with the host was to inform them of a fallen tree in the backyard, and that was minimal, all the other messages were the automatic/ computer generated messages. With respect to cleanliness, it’s obvious the cleaners don’t dust or move furniture. One member of our group found a large clump of black hair in her sheets. There were towels from the previous guests left in the backyard, and the backyard was honestly a mess and we felt like we couldn’t sit on the furniture because it was so dirty. Cute place, great location, but it could use some attention and TLC.

The house is perfect for a girl's trip! We had plenty of room and were able to relax comfortably. There were some nice amenities that you don't find in other rentals. The house has a large assortment of place settings and we were able to create a beautiful table for every meal. Really enjoyed the property and would recommend it!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The jacuzzi was so relaxing, and the living area was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate my whole family. We especially loved gathering for meals, the kitchen had beautiful dishes that made our family dinners feel extra special.
The outdoor yard games were a highlight, and we spent much of our time outside enjoying them together. I was in town for my graduation, and the setup with chairs and hair appliances made it so easy to get ready for the occasion. My niece and I also had so much fun in the photo op room, it was such a unique touch!
Everything was very comfortable, from the cozy couches to the beds. This home truly had everything we needed to make our stay memorable, and we’re so grateful for the thoughtful touches throughout. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay at for a work trip. Felt right at home-great kitchen to cook in, great back yard to decompress in after work. Hot tub was squeaky clean!! Would recommend when staying in Waco!!!

My bridesmaids and I stayed in this house the night before my wedding. The area it's in seems a little sketchy, but we had no issues the two nights we stayed. The house was absolutely perfect! Everyone had an actual bed to sleep in, the place is huge. The decor was amazing and the getting ready room was perfect for us the morning of the wedding. We got tons of great pictures as well. This house is perfect for any group, but especially fitting for any girls trips. We didn't use the backyard but if we were staying longer, the hot tub and fire pit would have been put to good use. Highly recommend The Pepper Place.

It’s such a beautiful house with lots of character and not to mention spacious to accommodate a very large group. The location is excellent as it’s close by to all the attractions Waco has offer. House was exactly as shown in photos, easy to check in, Logan was super quick to respond which we REALLY appreciated as we ran into a snag with plumbing. That said, he answered in minutes and had someone over in a few hours! If I had to complain about one thing, it’s that there wasn’t a drip coffee machine (to make a pot of coffee) only keurig. But that’s small! Would stay here again!

Very unique home within minutes of everything you need in Waco. Great backyard space with hot tub, and plenty of room for lots of guests and entertaining. Room in driveway for a few cars. It is an older home, and we were there during a cold snap, so the gas heating was a bit inconsistent (really cold, then extremely warm). The queen beds were very comfortable, and the king beds were firm but we adjusted. Would definitely stay again!
