We had a bumpy start to our stay
We had a bumpy start to our stay. The door code would not work. I had to travel 7 miles down the road to get Internet to communicate with the host.
1.5 hour later a handyman helped us get into the cabin. The sauna, hot tub & upperdeck hammock was the highlight of our stay. The patriotic decor was beautiful! I read the previous reviews about the sewer smell in the master bath. That definitely is still an issue. (Just crack open the window) Beds were super comfy and plenty of space to keep everyone entertained!
We also loved the swings by the fire pit!
We were given the wrong Wi-Fi, however, that was an easy fix.
Please note the two fireplaces are not usable. We did not receive that information until the day of arrival . That may have been a deciding factor when booking in winter months!
Overall, beautiful and very clean cabin.

We had an amazing stay with a large group of 14 (7 couples) and truly loved this home
We had an amazing stay with a large group of 14 (7 couples) and truly loved this home. The open floor plan was a huge highlight and made it easy for everyone to cook, gather, and enjoy time together. The long dining table was a major selling point and comfortably fit all 14 of us for meals.
The sauna, hot tub, and overall privacy were fantastic, and having multiple bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor (plus a half bath on the main level) made the home work very well for a large group. The décor was beautiful and thoughtfully done, and the hot tub towels were a great touch.
One helpful note for future guests: the listing mentions four twin beds in the open loft above the living room/kitchen area, but they are trundle beds, which is good to know when planning sleeping arrangements. We also noticed an occasional odor in the master bathroom, which didn’t impact our stay but may be worth checking.
Overall, this home was perfect for a group getaway, and we would absolutely stay again
