The house was beautiful and exactly what our family of 15 needed for our stay. We had a great vacation and enjoyed all that the house and area had to offer.
Unfortunately the house was not in tip top condition when we arrived, as both trash bins were overflowing with trash from previous guests, the grill/oven looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and many sheets were dirty and so we had to wash many sets of sheets the first night.
There were minor things as well and we communicated these and the above with the host so he could make sure his team gets things in shape for future guests. I have no doubt these things will get cleaned up for future stays.
We also had tornado sirens going off one evening and we found that the weight room worked well at fitting everyone while the severe weather passed.
Logan was responsive to our issues and needs.

We did use the pool one day (small but nice and has restrooms available), and it’s about a 10 minute drive (this house is in the way back of the community and the pool is at the front). If you exit out the back gate you are basically at Unicoi State Park, which has mountain bike trails and Anna Ruby Falls (beautiful double waterfalls). We had a wonderful stay getting together with extended family. We also went into town one day- Helen is a super cute tourist town.

Gold Leaf Chalet was great for our large family
Gold Leaf Chalet was great for our large family. Logan was an excellent host and very responsive to any questions or request that we had. We were minutes away from the activities and restaurants of Helen and a few State Parks. We went hiking and tubing and rode the mountain coaster in Helen. There was plenty to do at the house, pool table, foosball, arcade games, hot tub, sauna & workout room. There were plenty of dishes and silverware for everyone and plenty of nice clean, fluffy towels. There were also toys and supplies for little kids, including two “pack and plays”and a designated playroom. One in our party had to work and there was great Wi-Fi and room to work quietly. There is a shaded outdoor space that’s very beautiful and relaxing set around a gas fire pit. The kids roasted marshmallows and made s’mores, and we didn’t even have to build a fire. Our family had a great time at the gold leaf chalet.

Our family spent 10 great days at this location. We were very happy with the house and location. One needs to remember you are in the mountains of GA. It is a great location to go hiking and paddling on the nearby lake. A great restaurant and rooftop along with a great spa is just 3 minutes away from the house. On the rainy days, we had plenty of space to play games and rest. The house is clean and pretty well stocked. I recommend you bring along extra ice or an ice maker along with extra bottled water. The coffee maker was not working while we were there, but the owner was going to replace it. You also have a golf trail right behind the house if you are interested in golfing. Loved the area! Easy to talk and get updates from Logan.

Friends and I booked this place a year ahead of our trip
Friends and I booked this place a year ahead of our trip. We were super excited about staying. The cabin was beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay. The fireplace upstairs didn’t work, the downstairs door didn’t lock, and there was very little propane left for our stay. All things were reported the first night, we stressed we only wanted more propane. We were told it would arrive the next afternoon and nothing. It was never delivered. Now, we had a big winter storm brewing so maybe town was out, we just wish they had prepared for it or let us know something. The hot tub was amazing as well as the games/amenities. Communication was good and prompt. We ended up getting stuck and extra night due to the storm. There’s a large hill and without 4 wheel drive, you couldn’t get out of the neighborhood. We were charged a smaller portion of the nightly rate, but felt we should’ve been comped as it wasn’t on us that we couldn’t get out. Overall, it’s a great house and would recommend.

The stay was great, the house is beautiful! We had a grate time as family we did enjoyed the game room, very close to the town, we didn’t had any issue, the host was very responsive and nice they listened our concerns and we definitely will keep this house in mind to come back.

Amazing stay here! It was incredibly spacious, clean, and smelled amazing!! The host was kind and quick to respond. Definitely made our stay in Helen quite wonderful.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Logan’s place. Our family of 13 met up for the holidays and the home provided lots of space and entertainment for all ages. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and game room in the basement. The house was a quick drive into downtown Helen where we enjoyed some family time. Check-in was very easy & the hosts were quick to respond to our questions and concerns. I couldn’t honestly give 5 stars bc we did run across a couple issues, the most concerning one was roaches in the kitchen. Hopefully this will be addressed before the next guests. Again, overall good stay!

We had 13 ranging in age from 1&1/2 to 73. 8 adults, one teenager, 3 preschoolers and an infant. There was plenty of room for all, with great accommodations and lots to do. The setting is amazing and we made full use of the grill, hot tub and fire pit. The house was spotless when we arrived and everyone felt at home. Great place for a large group to stay when visiting Helen and surrounding area. Don’t miss the Consolidated Gold Mine.

Had a great stay in Helen! House was perfect for our group of 14 with plenty of room for privacy and common spaces to enjoy time together. Playing poker, some video games, enjoying fire pit and hot tub were highlights! Not to mention the beds were very comfortable.
Location is perfect to enjoy Helen, Unicoi Park and Anna Ruby Falls.

It’s a beautiful property. Intricately decorated and accommodated all of our guests comfortably. We knew ahead of arrival, based on pictures and reviews, that we would love it and we absolutely did. The location of the house couldn’t have been better , it was secluded and surrounded by nature but still very close to downtown Helen. The neighborhood was gated, beautiful, and very safe.

Our team had a great experience staying here! We had 12 people and everyone remarked about how comfortable their bed was. The house is in a private gated community, but there’s a back gate that makes it easy to get in and out of the neighborhood and down into Helen for meals and activities. Host was responsive and helpful to answer questions!

The Golden Leaf is an amazing property for a family or group travel. We truly enjoyed all the amenities, inside and out!! The house has such charm and was a maze of rooms and spaces designed for the young, and young at heart, alike. Overlooking the golf course and tucked away in the Innsbruck neighborhood in Helen, the house was far enough away from the crowds, but close enough to be in the mix of all the Bavarian Village has to offer. Logan and Bri were super hosts with plenty of information conveyed prior to arrival and with great response time to our questions. I would recommend this property, without hesitation, to anyone looking for an exciting trip to Helen. The town and the home are awesome places to visit and enjoy all they both have to offer. Thanks again for a GREAT stay!!

Our family really enjoyed the game room and eating outside on the spacious deck. Everything was clean and in working order. The hot tub was clean and ready to enjoy. All the beds were comfortable and the baths were sparkling. Logan and Bri were clear with their directions, friendly, and quick to respond when we had a question. This home feels secluded, but is a short drive to Helen. Driveway is large. We had a great time!

The Gold Leaf Chalet exceeded expectations. Set along a beautiful golf course, the home is even more impressive than the photos—spacious bedrooms, a large basement gathering area, and plenty of room to spread out. I hosted a group of 30+ Georgia Tech students for a planning retreat, and the chalet accommodated us comfortably for both meetings and meals. I’d gladly return.

If you are looking for an awesome place to stay for a group of 10 to 15, this is the place. There is plenty of things to do in the area but there is plenty to do if you just want to hangout. There is a pool table, arcade games, a large game table, and several TVs. It has a hot tub and a gas fire pit. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals. Logan and Bri are great hosts. If you text them, they text you back in a matter of minutes. Highly recommended!

This place was nothing short of Amazing!! My family and I had a great time. We really didn't need to leave for anything. The bedding was comfortable and the home itself has so much character. I will definitely be staying here again on the next family trip to Helen. Also, the hosts were so prompt and easily communicative. They were very flexible with our time and helped with directions. Overall great place to stay!

Access requires check in initially but after that it’s a breeze in and out.
House was spotless clean everywhere you look despite the big size of the house, all my guest were very thankful for a great night of sleep on the extremely comfortable Beds with the incredibly comfortable Pillows.
So much entertainment that all my guest has something to do without getting bored, there is a room for everyone whether you wan to have fun or a cozy place to Unwind and Read a book.

The place was great. It was exactly as described. Only negative was no cushions for the outside seating area. I would recommend more coffee pods and less hot chocolate pods. I would also recommend giving address for guard shack and then have people put in address for house. Everyone in our group had their directions take them to the back gate.

This house was stunning. The pictures didnt do it justice. We had our family Thanksgiving a week early due to my daughter not being able to come home for Thanskgiving. There were 10 adults and 5 kids and we had more than enough space to not get on each other's nerves. The view was breathtaking. Logan was always responsive and allowed us to check in a little early due to the long drive for my parents. Everything qe needed was there. would absolutely visit this home again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home was immaculate with plenty of space for a large family. I loved how everything in the house was labeled in the kitchen and organized. The hosts were exceptional and when we had questions, they responded quickly. We would definitely return and refer friends and family to stay at this home if available.

All amenities were great and the house was in a great location right on a beautiful mountain golf course. The decorations and vibe of the house was amazing and each room had its own flair. Lastly, the house was very clean and the hosts had a sweet welcome basket for us. Would definitely recommend to everyone and stay again!
